Simran Deol is a graduate student at Harvard University, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human Development & Education. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capilano University.

Simran's journey is a testament to resilience and self-discovery. At the age of 20, she received diagnoses of Specific Learning Disorders in reading, writing, and math, along with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Being undiagnosed until that age presented numerous challenges, and she encountered significant academic difficulties, barely graduating from both high school and her undergraduate program. Simran grappled with the perplexity of these educational hurdles until gaining insight into how her unique brain functioned.

Equipped with a newfound understanding of herself, Simran embarked on a transformative path. Not only did she earn her Bachelor's degree, but she also achieved the remarkable feat of gaining admission to Harvard University. Simran has since cultivated a fulfilling career driven by her passions. She has made substantial contributions to her field, serving on boards, holding director-level positions, and volunteering with esteemed organizations such as The United Nations.

Simran's overarching goal is to inspire and support individuals facing similar challenges. She aims to empower them by showcasing how their distinctive skillsets and ways of thinking can be leveraged as strengths, ultimately leading to personal and professional success.
